I used to sheet mask every Sunday as part of my Sunday routine, but lately I’ve been so busy catching up with family on Sundays that I’ve totally put this routine behind me. The routine was sushi, wine a candle and a sheet mask. I want to bring back this routine, since It was relaxing and a distresser to my week. But recently I discovered a better way to sheet mask which results in glowy morning skin and thats a sheet mask before bed.
A nighttime skincare routine is crucial, cleansing and hydrating, but think about how great it would be to add a boost of hydration right before bed. Sheet masking before bed is the ultimate way to make sure all the moisture from the sheet masks is getting put to good use. Usually if you sheet mask during the day all the excess product from the sheet mask might go to waste If you plan on putting makeup right after. A great way to use all that excess moisture is to go to bed right after sheet masking. A great sheet mask will give you hydration and anti-aging benefits.
While we sleep our skin recovers and renews itself and all the product from the sheet mask will be soaked into the skin and you’ll wake up with glowing skin.
My New Sheet Mask Before Bed Routine.
- Cleanse face
- Add eye cream
- Add serum
- Sheet Mask
- Add moisturizer
Maybe I should try taking a nap while masking, and using a silicone sheet mask cover to keep the mask in place of course.
