I’ve always gravitated more towards pinks and nudes, for comfort level and for how versatile they are. While on the search for a classic red lipstick I ran into the Yves Saint Laurent Gold Attraction Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick. While the gorgeous packaging sold me immediately (it is the holiday season), the smooth application and shade of red made this a must have purchase for me.

The red tones are not too bright or too orange, I love how it compliments my skin without looking too overdone. The red lipstick is super hydrating which is important, specially for those of us who enjoy glosses on a daily basis. This red lipstick is extremely pigmented an 1 or 2 layers will do. The color lasts all day and completely safe to wear day or night specially with a wing liner and plenty of lashes.
