Is never too early to start using anti-aging products that will improve the appearance of your skin, anything to help with avoiding discoloration, sun spots, dryness and early wrinkles is great to maintain healthy skin. I take small steps daily to make sure I’m taking care of my skin, these small steps make a huge difference in the long run.
// Sun Protection //
Recently with the winter I’ve been less motivated to use my sunscreen under my makeup, then I remember that even if the sun is not shinning strong the rays can still damage your skin. Preventing sun damage is important, UV damage leads to premature signs of aging. Try CeraVe Hydrating Face Lotion Mineral Sunscreen
// Skin Turnover Retinol //
Exfoliating is important, I currently do it 1-2x per week at best. It is a great way to get rid of dead skin cells. Another product that is great for anti-aging and skin turnover is Retinols. Retinols are a strong vitamin A and this anti-aging ingredient is a strong antigent. It increases the skin’s production of collagen, promotes the skin’s exfoliation by getting rid of dead/damaged skin. Retinols are strong and are needed later in life but I’ve recently incorporated CeraVe skin renewal serum which contains a small amount of Retinol gently enough for your 20’s-30’s. I only use it once a week. Mature skin can get a prescription Retinol which is stronger. Try CeraVe Skin Renewing Retinol Cream Serum
// Antioxidants //
Antioxidants like vitamin C should be a staple in your routine. Vitamin C has reduced any dark spots in my skin, it brightens the skin and stimulates skin’s natural collagen production. Try SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic
// Diet //
Diet can effect your skin, from breakouts to it looking dull. A healthy diet can help your skin appear more radiant. I love drinking super food green juices and incorporating collagen peptides into my routine. Try Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides
// Facial Massages //
Facial massages can reduce inflammation, help keep skin tight and overtime reduce the appearance of wrinkles. My facial rollers have become part of my weekly routine and it feels like I’m fighting and giving my face muscles a workout. Try Joanna Czech – Facial Massager
