Trying out new skin care products is one of my favorite hobbies. We discuss sheet masks on this blog all the time and we all love how easy and mess free they are. I’ve recently received the mud masks from Patchology and was surprise how the mask came in the form of a sheet masks. We’ve covered charcoal and mud masks on the blog before (read more here) but I’ve never encounter a mud sheet mask. I could’t wait to review it!

The Patchology Detox SmartMud No Mess Mud Sheet Mask came in the form of a sheet mask. You peel one side of the mask, apply the mud mask on your face then peel off the front on the mask. Press the mask on your face so it sits perfectly on the skin, let it sit on your face while you chill and relax. Leave on for 10 minutes or longer. Once done, remove the mask and wash your face.
No mess to clean and nothing to mix.
This mask feels great on the skin and once you remove it leaves your skin feeling fresh and brighter. You automatically feel the detoxifying effects of the mask on your skin, it’s super refreshing. The mask removes toxins and dirt and gives you a purifying feeling. Your skin feels youthful and glowy. With ingredients like Activated Charcoal (which absorb dirt and oils from the skin by drawing oil, dirt and other harmful substances out of the pores) and with Hydrolyzed Collagen to plump and tightens skin, this mask is doing it’s work to provide a youthful, clearer complexion.
After you wash any remainders of the mask off, follow with a great moisturizer and face oils to complete your routine. I love doing this mask when my skin feels dull and oily and clogged. It really works wonders and leaves my skin refreshed.
This mask is perfect for oily skin.
If your skin is on the drier side, I would avoid this mask as it may not bring your skin the same results and might even make it drier.
