Combination skin can be both dry/normal in some areas, while other areas it can be really oily. For many people who have combination skin it can cause their T-zone to get oily, while other parts of their skin remain dry. For them it’s important to find a matte foundation that maintains their T zone under control, but doesn’t cause dryness to other parts of their skin. I have combination skin, (not too dry and not too oily ) and some areas like my forehead and around my nose can get extremely oily and shiny even with proper face powder. A foundation that’s matte really helps this problem and carrying a powder with you for proper touch ups. Summer is here and it’s definitely nice to have a matte foundation that works all day without too much shine.
The Estee Lauder Double Wear SPF 10 foundation is an amazing foundation for combination skin. This foundation is completely matte but not over drying. This foundation is extremely long lasting, lasting all day without rubbing off. It comes with SPF 10 which is great for daytime.
The Estee Lauder Double Wear SPF 10 Foundation is lightweight and feels breathable. It’s created to give you that flawless matte finish while withstanding heat and being sweat proof. You’ll achieve a matte finish and get non-drying oil control.
I have noticed this foundation needs to sit on the skin for a couple of minutes before adding a bronzer, once it sits on the skin then the true color really shows. To find your perfect range visit a store where you can do a physical swatch and let the color sit on the skin for a couple of minutes.
