Fall and Winter are the perfect time for layering clothes and accessories. I love a mix of lightweight sweaters, layered with blazers or scarfs, or even a little vest helps make a winter look come together. Lately I’ve been obsessed with delicate jewels, specially rings. A couple of gold rings stacked together can accent any simple look. The best gold rings allow for layering and customization, without the look of bulkiness or being overdone. Rings never go out of style, and a gold layer of rings looks great in the winter months and even better with a summer tan.
Gold Rings vs. Silver Rings – The Debate
I love gold rings, and I love silver rings, but when it comes down to deciding between the two it comes down to two things. Anything minimal and similar to a band I love in gold. Like a traditional wedding band. Anything large or with oversize diamonds I like in silver.
Some of my favorite gold rings have a minimalist look, yet are nothing from ordinary. I love rings that are simple enough to layer while being long lasting in quality.
Some of my favorite rings to layer, include designs of small well aligned diamonds, or tiny pearl. Sometimes even rings with angles and shapes help keep the layering interesting. Anything with solid 14k gold will last you for years.

My Gold Ring Layering Muse
I’ve always had a love for Rachel Zoe and her style. Specially thinking back to when she was the go to celebrity stylist, and even made Nicole Richie a style icon. Even more than her style, I love how she layers her rings. Everything from gold, to silver, to funky bands.
She also does a similar thing with her bracelets. Over the years she’s been able to layer on tons of rings, while keeping it classy and chic.
