As the cold weather approaches I’m focusing on keeping my skin and hair hydrated while keeping my immune system in top shape. In order to get my daily servings of fruits and veggies I incorporate green smoothies to help me meet those needs. I’m a big fan of super food powders, they are made from top ingredients and help cut the juice prep time in half.
Immune Boosting Smoothie
- Flax Seed oil (omega 3)
- Fruits (Frozen works) – Strawberries, blueberries, pineapple mix
- Collagen powder – Supplement Skin, Hair, Nails
- Vitamin C powder- Helps body absorb collagen

Optional:
- Veggies – Kale, spinach, beets or a spring mix
- Lime Juice (optional)
- Orange Juice (optional) – Use water instead
- Chia seeds
Blend it all together using your Magic Bullet Blender and enjoy. I use water instead of orange juice but if you like a little bit more flavor do half parts water and a little bit of orange juice. The Hum Superfood Powders contains a long list of ingredients that are great for your body. These powders really simplify my life, if I don’t have time in the morning I do 1 scoop of the Raw powder shake it with water and drink it before leaving the house..
